Dubai Metro opened on 9 September 2009, with ten stations operational under its red line. It is one of the most advanced and modern rail systems with two metro lines covering the city – The Red Line and The Green Line. Anyone with a Nol card is eligible to use the Metro.
There are around 3000 CCTVs installed in the trains and stations to monitor any security breaches on the trains. A dedicated Metro Police force is present to enforce rules. There is Wi-Fi access across the entire metro network.
Dubai Metro is very convenient for users with its tactile guidance path, platform alerts, wheelchair and lift access, and informative displays.

05:00 AM – 12:00 AM (Midnight) Monday to Thursday
05:00 AM – 01:00 AM (Next day) on Friday
05:00 AM – 12:00 AM (Midnight) on Saturday
08:00 AM -12:00 AM (Midnight) on Sunday
