Introducing The Red Affair: A Penfolds x Folly Brasserie Brunch

folly Brasserie at Address Montgomerie is turning up the charm with The Red Affair, a spirited new brunch in partnership with iconic Australian wine label Penfolds. Launching on Saturday 5th July, this marks the first in a series of vibrant quarterly brunches that blend free-flowing fine wine, indulgent cuisine and folly’s signature sense of fun.

Set amidst the lush greenery of Emirates Hills, The Red Affair brings a sophisticated yet playful afternoon to life with live entertainment, Penfolds pours and a dazzling menu designed for sharing. From 1pm to 4pm, guests can settle in for a leisurely afternoon of lively company, stunning views and seriously good food.

The curated menu opens with indulgent starters to share – from freshly shucked oysters with mignonette, folly Chips with a herb-infused emulsion, Heritage Beetroot with tapioca crisp, Braised Beef Beignet with fresh truffle, and rich Beef Tartare with confit egg yolk.

Bright, summery salads follow – including Heirloom Tomato with red pepper, stracciatella, and gazpacho, and Dorset Crab with apple, cucumber, lemon verbena, and herb emulsion – setting the stage for an impressive duo of mains: a showstopping Beef Wellington with thyme and red wine jus, and Roast Monkfish bathed in Champagne caviar butter sauce.

To accompany, a generous spread of sides includes Parmentier potatoes, creamy mash, broccolini with parmesan and pine nuts, and sautéed kale with hazelnut pesto.

Dessert is a shared affair, featuring Baked Chocolate with blood orange sorbet, a light Pavlova with white chocolate gelato and raspberry sorbet, Olive Oil Ice Cream with sourdough crisp, and a cheese trolley offering a refined selection of European cheeses to finish.

The experience is priced at AED 450 per person for the alcoholic package, which includes three hours of Penfolds Champagne Cuvee Brut and curated wine pairings featuring Koonunga Hill red and white. A non-alcoholic package is also available for AED 350, offering the same exceptional menu alongside premium non-alcoholic beverages.

The party continues with the Penfolds Happy Hour from 4 to 7pm, with Koonunga Hill Shiraz-Cabernet and Chardonnay available at AED 38 per glass or AED 180 per bottle. folly Brasserie’s own happy hour also runs during this time, serving up cocktails at AED 38, including signature favourites like the Infamous Folly Pop, Fleur de Martini, Fancy Glasshouse and Fountain Highball.
