House Of Arts Launches Membership Programme For Artists, Families And Cultural Champions At Expo City Dubai

House of Arts at Expo City Dubai has unveiled a new membership programme and an exciting calendar of activities, spanning music, film, masterclasses, workshops, talks and more. The details were announced during a special evening, which included a performance by the all-women Firdaus Orchestra, a panel talk with Cinema Akil founder Butheina Kazim and a screening of The Sleeping Tree by Bahraini director, Mohammed Rashed Buali.

The House of Arts membership programme spans a range of tiers, designed to transform artists, students, families and the creative community from across the GCC into cultural champions. It offers flexible ways for visitors and practitioners to join the House of Arts community and support its mission to make GCC art accessible to all.

Amna Abulhoul, Executive Creative Director of Entertainment and Experiences at Expo City Dubai, and curator of House of Arts, said: “House of Arts is a living, breathing home for creativity in the heart of Expo City Dubai – and a place where anyone, from a first‑time visitor to an emerging artist, can feel a sense of belonging. Our new membership programme is an invitation to become part of this story: to learn, experiment and collaborate, while championing the incredible talent of the GCC. Together, we are building a community that makes art accessible, visible and truly woven into everyday life.”

“At Expo City Dubai, we believe that art thrives when it is accessible, when it is supported with intention, and when it is rooted in community. Everything we do here, from exhibitions and performances to talks, films, and workshops, is guided by that belief, Abulhoul concluded.

Conceived as a collaborative platform, the membership programme invites members to learn, experiment and connect through workshops, masterclasses, open studio access, dedicated community programming and more. Each membership is tailored to a different stage of the creative journey, ensuring that curious first‑time visitors, emerging artists and committed patrons alike can find their place within this growing ecosystem.

Memberships will also open the door to a thoughtfully curated programme of masterclasses and workshops, alongside talks, gatherings, and more. Community members are welcomed into spaces for making and thinking alike, with access to the open art studio and dedicated co-working space.

The announcement follows the highly anticipated launch of House of Arts as the home of arts and culture in Expo City Dubai in November, attended by Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.

The inaugural House of Arts exhibition, Interwoven, presents a selection of works by 18 diverse artists and creatives from across the GCC, reimagining the ancient art of Sadu in immersive and contemporary ways. As a pillar of the Expo City Dubai community, House of Arts honours GCC art and culture while embracing global perspectives through exhibitions, workshops, and community-driven programming.
