VEO Fitness Partners With StuDIYo Lab To Launch Children’s Woodworking And Design Workshops Across Dubai
Always looking to expand its lifestyle-led offering beyond traditional fitness, VEO Fitness has partnered with StuDIYo Lab to create a new series of children’s woodworking and Design & Technology workshops across its Dubai locations. Encouraging creativity, hands-on learning, and meaningful family experiences, the workshops are an opportunity for parents to enjoy their own wellness routine at VEO while children participate in engaging educational sessions within the same community-focused environment.

The new partnership with StuDIYo Lab champions this wider vision, introducing children’s workshops that blend creativity with practical learning in a fun and supportive setting. Designed to promote curiosity, confidence, and problem-solving skills, the sessions will see children work with real tools, materials, and undertake hands-on projects under guided supervision, helping them develop valuable creative and technical abilities from an early age.
Tailored to different age groups, the Woodworking Foundation programme is designed for children aged 5 to 8 and offers a beginner-friendly introduction to woodworking through safe, guided activities including sanding, colouring, hands-on building, and creative project work. Running for 60 minutes per session, the five-session programme is priced at AED 630 inclusive of VAT.
For older children aged 9 and above, the DT Foundation programme focuses on Design & Technology learning through design thinking, prototyping, woodworking, and maker skills inspired by real-world projects. Also running for 60 minutes per session, the five-session package is priced at AED 825 inclusive of VAT, providing a more advanced introduction to creative problem-solving and practical innovation.
To mark the launch, VEO Fitness and StuDIYo Lab will host complimentary Eid Weekend Workshops across four VEO locations between May 28th and 31st. Giving families an exclusive first look at the concept, the hour-long sessions are open to children aged 5 and above and will see participants design and create their own UAE-themed fridge magnets using a variety of creative crafting techniques and materials. Available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis upon registration, the workshops offer a fun, festive activity and a handmade keepsake to take home.
