Internationally acclaimed celebrity-favourite restaurant, Sexy Fish Dubai is now officially open. Located at the rooftop of Dubai International Financial Centre’s (DIFC) Innovation One, Caprice Holding’s latest launch promises to deliver an exceptional, immersive dining experience, paired with breathtaking views of Dubai’s iconic skyline.
Sexy Fish Dubai brings together world-class Japanese-inspired cuisine, exceptional design and an electric atmosphere to the heart of the city. Following in the footsteps of its sister restaurants in Mayfair London, Miami, and Manchester, the Dubai location aims to redefine the city’s dining scene with its sophisticated fusion of art, food and entertainment.
Upon arrival, guests are transported into an enchanting underwater realm – greeted with a striking aqua-blue mirrored reception area, set against a backdrop of over 2 million hand-painted pieces of coral and an iconic Damien Hirst octopus sculpture. The spacious main restaurant, wrap-around terrace and bar, designed by globally renowned Martin Brudnizki Design Studios, is brought to life with octopus tentacle pillar columns wrapped in hand-blown Murano glass, works of Damien Hirst, bronze mermaids and bespoke hanging fish lights.
At the helm of Sexy Fish Dubai’s kitchen is Global Chef Director Bjoern Weissgerber and Executive Chef Chris Blake, who lead a team of culinary artists dedicated to delivering the finest Japanese-inspired cuisine. The menu balances traditional techniques with modern creativity, featuring a seasonally driven array of sushi, sashimi, tartare and Robata grill specialities. The new location unveils a series of Dubai-exclusive dishes including Scallop Ceviche with Cucumber & Shiso, a decadent Sexy Udon laced with White Truffle.
Global Director of Beverage Xavier Landais spearheads the bar team alongside Bar Manager Samy Rathnayake, presenting the restaurant’s award-winning drinks menu which perfectly pairs with the concept’s innovative cuisine. The recently launched UNITY cocktail menu is set to revolutionise the city’s bar scene with a groundbreaking approach to modern mixology. Featuring a number of serves, each based on a single flavour profile, and available as alcohol-free, low ABV or with alcohol, UNITY offers guests a truly bespoke experience allowing them to pick their flavour profile and ABV. Three new additions join UNITY exclusive to the Dubai market, with the creation of Coconut, Date and Mandarin serves. The bar will also feature the largest collection of Japanese whisky in the Middle East, along with an extensive 500-reference wine list and a curated 100 reference Champagne selection showcasing both prestigious cuvées and boutique producers.
With its dynamic fusion of food, art, design and entertainment, Sexy Fish Dubai is set to become an iconic addition to the city’s vibrant dining scene.
Sexy Fish Dubai is now open for dinner seven days a week from, 6pm-2am. January 2025 will see the launch of its lunch offering, followed by the iconic Sushi Brunch early 2025.
