Ariana’s Persian Kitchen Welcomes Nowruz With A Night Of Festive Flavors And Traditions
Ariana’s Persian Kitchen at Atlantis The Royal invites guests to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year, with an unforgettable evening of fine dining, cultural traditions, and live music. Taking place on Thursday, 20th March 2025, from 9:30 PM until late, this special occasion will feature a meticulously curated set menu inspired by centuries-old Persian customs, offering a culinary journey rich in flavor and symbolism.
Nowruz, meaning “new day” in Persian, marks the vernal equinox, symbolising rebirth, prosperity, and the renewal of life. Recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, the festival is celebrated across Iran and many neighboring countries, bringing families and communities together in joyous gatherings centered around a bountiful feast.
The evening’s menu has been designed to reflect the symbolic significance of Nowruz, beginning with Sabzi Khordan, a vibrant selection of fresh Persian herbs representing nature’s vitality. The feast continues with Zeytoon Parvardeh, marinated olives with walnuts and pomegranate molasses, a dish signifying abundance and prosperity, and Kashk E Bademjoon, a rich eggplant purée infused with cured whey, crispy onions, and walnuts, paying homage to Persian culinary heritage.
For the main course, guests will enjoy Sabzi Polo Ba Mahi, the quintessential Nowruz dish featuring crispy pan-fried seabream served with herbed rice, a combination believed to bring wealth and new beginnings. The celebration concludes with a selection of Persian sweets, including Baghlava, delicate layers of spiced filo pastry, and Wild Orchid ice cream, a luxurious saffron and rose water ice cream topped with pistachios, both of which embody joy, festivity, and the sweetness of life.
Ariana’s Persian Kitchen will offer a welcoming Nowruz celebration, featuring live music, authentic flavors, and warm hospitality to honor this cherished Persian tradition. Inspired by Ariana Bundy’s ancestral home in Kashan, Iran, the elegant setting will transport guests to a world of history, culture, and timeless beauty.
