852 Bakery And Jooksing Collaborate For A One-Weekend-Only Pop-Up

This weekend, two of Dubai’s most exciting homegrown concepts come together for a one-off morning collaboration at Neighbourhood Food Hall. Created by award-winning Chef Kelvin Cheung, the mind behind Jun’s and a pioneer of Third Culture Cooking, 852 Bakery and Jooksing reflect a shared ethos of simplicity, quality and cultural storytelling, merging their distinct identities from Hong Kong-inspired baking to bold Chinese-American comfort food. As part of a larger initiative called Breakfast Bingo, this is designed as a community-driven, neighbourhood-friendly experience, the limited breakfast pop-up runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on March 28 and March 29 only, offering a fresh and unexpected take on flavour, creativity and culture.

Bringing their signature styles together into one menu, the collaboration centres around breakfast sandwiches served on a choice of sesame bagel or gluten-free sourdough baguette. Highlights include the exclusive Mongol Sam, featuring Jooksing’s iconic Mongolian beef tenderloin with a sunny-side egg, soy pickles and scallion schmear, priced at AED 45. Alongside it, 852 Bakery introduces the limited Cucumber Drip with scallion schmear, paradise tomatoes, Szechuan smashed pickles, a sunny-side egg and Jun’s chilli crunch, available for AED 40. For sips, patrons can enjoy 852 Bakery’s Matcha Coconut as well as the Matcha Mango Sago, two of the bakery’s signature beverages each priced at AED 28.

With dishes available for a short time only, this is one to catch while it lasts. Whether dining in or grabbing a quick bite, it is a rare chance to experience both brands together in one distinctive, flavour-driven moment.
