China Tang Dubai, the acclaimed Cantonese restaurant founded by the late Sir David Tang, has unveiled a new business lunch offering, now available Monday to Friday from 12PM to 3PM.
Located by the waters of Marasi Bay Marina at The Lana Promenade, Dorchester Collection, and following its highly anticipated Middle East debut, the restaurant continues to elevate the city’s dining scene with its sophisticated blend of culinary heritage and timeless glamour.
Named ‘Sir David’s Business Lunch’ in honour of the restaurant’s iconic founder, the new offering introduces a thoughtfully curated set menu designed to suit both business gatherings and leisurely midday meals. Set against the restaurant’s elegant Art Deco interiors inspired by 1930s Shanghai, the experience strikes the perfect balance between refinement and approachability.
Guests can choose between the two-course Classic Menu or the three-course Signature Menu, priced at AED 138 and AED 168 respectively. The two-course menu begins with the Chef Li’s Steamed Dim Sum Collection, featuring a trio of meticulously handcraftedfavourites: Jiao Zi Style Dumpling,Xiao Long Bao, and Har Kau. Each individual dumpling is shaped with precision using time-honoured techniques – from the paper-thin dumpling wrappers folded by hand to the perfectly balanced fillings made with fresh, premium ingredients- designed to be savoured.
For the main course, diners can select from Kung Pao Prawns, Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, or Vegetarian Ma Po Tofu, each served with fragrant Steamed Jasmine Rice.Those opting for the Signature Menu will also enjoy a comforting Sweet Corn Soup to start, before continuing with the dim sum selection and main course.
Guests also have the option to elevate their experience with a glass of the sommelier’s wine pairing or a pot of China Tang Dubai’s signature specialty tea for an additional AED 25.
