Perched on the 52nd floor of ICD Brookfield Place, 1920 continues to redefine Dubai’s nightlife with a sophisticated fusion of live music, curated cocktails, and timeless elegance. This May, 1920 unveils a curated line-up of unmissable experiences, from exclusive performances by acclaimed jazz vocalist Emma Smith, to a week-long celebration with The Lost Explorer with Paloma Week, and the launch of REWIND, a new nostalgia-fueled night set to bring fresh energy to 1920’s late-night scene.

Emma Smith Live at 1920 – May 14 & 16

Get ready for two captivating nights with award-winning jazz vocalist Emma Smith, renowned for her powerful voice and magnetic stage presence. With a career spanning international stages and critically acclaimed collaborations, she is known for her dynamic fusion of classic jazz with modern sensibility. Emma will headline 1920 on May 14th and 16th, bringing an extra layer of soulful sophistication to the venue’s signature live music line-up.

Paloma Week in Partnership with The Lost Explorer – May 20–25

This May 1920 partners with award-winning mezcal brand The Lost Explorer to celebrate one of summer’s most iconic cocktails: the Paloma. Running from May 20th to 25th, Paloma Week will showcase a bespoke cocktail menu curated by Head of Bar, Nico Lazzari, reimagining the classic serve with the bold, smoky flavours of artisanal mezcal. Expect vibrant flavours, innovative twists, and elevated serves that capture the spirit of 1920, best enjoyed against a backdrop of golden-hour views and soulful sounds.

REWIND – May 31

To close out the month, 1920 invites guests to REWIND, a retro-inspired evening of sound, style, and spirited celebration. With themed music sets, vintage cocktails, and an electric late-night atmosphere, the launch of this new series promises a playful nod to bygone eras, all through the lens of 1920’s signature elegance.

From genre-defining performances and collaborative mixology to elevated nostalgia, 1920’s May calendar promises immersive evenings where music, mood, and masterful cocktails converge.
