Animotion MENA To Premiere The Fixies Live Show At Connect, Explore & Learn Event In Dubai
This Saturday 9th May 2026, Moms, Pops & Tots, a GCC family community initiative, will launch its first family focused experiential event Connect, Explore & Learn in partnership with Mohammed Bin Rashid Library, bringing together family entertainment, F&B, early years brands and wellbeing activities in one thoughtfully curated fun day. The event aligns closely with the UAE’s wider vision for Year of the Family 2026, strengthening family wellbeing, community connections and early childhood development.
Designed for families with children aged between 0-9, the event will transform the library into an interactive destination with a blend of fun educational entertainment, emotional wellbeing activities and community engagement, while introducing parents to family focused brands and resources, supporting the family ecosystem.
Throughout the day, families will enjoy a vibrant programme of activities designed to engage both children and parents. A key highlight of the event will be the premiere of The Fixies’ first live show by Animotion MENA, featuring interactive performances, dance numbers, games, and a special meet-and-greet with beloved characters Simka and Nolik. The programme will also include screenings of educational content tailored to different age groups, including BabyRiki for toddlers, The Fixies for children aged 4–8, Detective Finnick and Finnick 2 the movie for older kids aged 6–10. There will also be Interactive Story telling sessions at MBRL’s Children’s Library with Helen Farmer, Mufida Al Digeil and Victoria Hopkin from The Majlis Academy, as well as Ebtisam Albeiti and more authors under the Emirates Literature Foundation, where guided storytelling sessions will come to life introducing young children to the joys of reading, helping to build positive emotional connections with books while promoting early literacy.
The event places a strong emphasis on wellbeing, with dedicated sessions offering parent and child wellbeing and calming activities designed to support emotional regulation and mindfulness.
Finally, a curated marketplace will showcase a diverse selection of UAE based brands and SME’s offering products and services tailored to families, giving parents the opportunity to discover new concepts while supporting local concepts. The outdoor flag garden will offer F&B Outlets completing the experience and the event will be free to attend with registration required.
