Dua Lipa’s Wax Figure Arrives At Madame Tussauds Dubai Exclusively For Three Months

Madame Tussaud Dubai, the interactive wax attraction located on Bluewaters, will play host to the figure of English and Albanian singer Dua Lipa exclusively from now until 28th June. The figure is specially on loan from Madame Tussauds Amsterdam for this limited time opportunity.

Known for her hits ‘Houdini’ and ‘Dance the Night’ from the soundtrack of the film Barbie, Dua Lipa is a multi-award winning artist who has taken home six Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards. Her Madame Tussauds wax figure wears a purple dress inspired by the outfit worn to the 2018 Billboard Awards, where she performed her single ‘New Rules’; the dress was designed by French couture designer, Alexandre Vauthier. Dua Lipa’s wax figure was officially launched at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam in 2019 at a ‘side-by-side’ event attended by the singer herself.

Dua Lipa joins the likes of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake in the A-List Zone, one of the six themed areas of Madame Tussauds Dubai, the other zones being: Leaders & Royals, Fashion, Film, Bollywood and Sports. Her figure stands next to the DJ interactive where guests can pose playing the decks and put their name up in lights.

Dua Lipa fans going to Madame Tussauds Dubai are encouraged to share their best lip sync take on the singer’s hit song ‘Houdini’ for the chance of be being featured on the Madame Tussauds social media pages. All they need to do is record, lip sync next to the wax figure and share on social media (while tagging @tussaudsdubai). For more information on the competition, head to @tussaudsdubai on Instagram.

During Ramadan, Madame Tussauds Dubai will be offering a special discount with 30 per cent discount on the Standard Admission tickets (AED 99) and on the 90-min VIP Tour (AED 215), the Exclusive Fame Experience.
