India’s Got Latent Breakout Star Sharon Verma To Make Dubai Debut As Comedy Box Office Returns With Season 7
One of India’s fastest-rising comedy stars, Sharon Verma, is set to make her first-ever live performance in Dubai this December as the headline act of Comedy Box Office Season 7, a four-month stand-up comedy festival bringing some of India’s most-loved comedians to the UAE.
Fresh off her breakout success on India’s Got Latent, Sharon Verma has become one of the most talked-about names in India’s comedy circuit. Known for her fearless observations, relatable storytelling and effortless stage presence, she has built a rapidly growing fan base across social media, making her Dubai debut on 27th December one of the most anticipated comedy performances of the year.
Presented by Spotlight Entertainment, Comedy Box Office Season 7 returns at Emirates International Theatre with four consecutive months of live stand-up beginning 12th September, bringing together celebrated stand-up comedians, viral digital creators and crowd favourites for audiences across the UAE.
The season opens on 12th September with Rajat Chauhan, whose clean, observational humour and storytelling rooted in everyday Indian life have made him one of the country’s most-loved stand-up comedians. Joining him are Siddhartha Shetty, known for his energetic stage presence and relatable humour, and Anmol Garg, whose fresh perspective and witty takes on modern life have earned him a growing fan following.
The laughter continues on 25th October with Onkar Yadav, the actor-comedian who rose to prominence through Marathi television and has become a household name for his impeccable comic timing and memorable characters. Sharing the stage are Shreya Priyam Roy, recognised for her sharp observational comedy and distinctive voice among India’s new generation of stand-up comedians, and Pranav Sharma, whose engaging storytelling and relatable humour have made him a favourite with live audiences across the country.
On 28th November, audiences can look forward to Jaspreet Singh a.k.a Life of Paaji, whose hugely popular Punjabi family humour, everyday observations and viral social media content have made him one of the internet’s favourite comedy creators, resonating with audiences across generations.
The season concludes on 27th December with Sharon Verma’s first-ever Dubai performance, marking the UAE debut of one of India’s fastest-rising comedy voices and undoubtedly one of the highlights of this year’s comedy calendar.
