Jim Gaffigan is no stranger to the comedy scene, with a remarkable career spanning various mediums, he is a three-time Emmy winning comedian, actor, writer, and producer, with his own style of comedy that revolves around his keen observations on life. Gaffigan’s talent has garnered him multiple accolades, including seven Grammy nominations for his outstanding performances and a place on the Forbes’ 2019 list of top ten comedians.
He recently reached a milestone as the first comedian to surpass one billion streams on Pandora, solidifying his status as a global comedy sensation. His ninth stand-up special, “Comedy Monster,” premiered on Netflix in December and was nominated for a Grammy, while his 10th comedy special will be released later this year.
Beyond his stand-up success, Gaffigan continues to captivate audiences with his acting skills. He can currently be seen as the lead in the Sci-Fi dramedy, “Linoleum,” and he will portray the iconic character Mr. Smee in Disney’s upcoming “Peter Pan and Wendy”. He is also set to appear in Netflix’s “Unfrosted” alongside Jerry Seinfeld, Melissa McCarthy, James Marsden, and Hugh Grant. Furthermore, Gaffigan stars in the independent film “Susie Searches,” which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this year.

His many further acting credits include roles in the likes of “Three Kings”, “Super Troopers 1 & 2”, and “Chappaquiddick”. 2019 was Gaffigan’s biggest year to date with an astonishing eight films releasing, three which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival including “Troop Zero”, “Them That Follow” and “Light From Light” – with many festival goers and press calling Gaffigan the “King of Sundance.”
