Margaux At Madinat Jumeirah Unveils Exquisite Festive Hampers For The Holiday Season

Margaux at Madinat Jumeirah is thrilled to announce the launch of its spectacular collection of Festive Hampers, a collaborative masterpiece from three acclaimed pastry chefs across Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Mina Al Salam, and Jumeirah Al Qasr. This unique collection promises a symphony of flavours and cherished memories for the holiday season.

These meticulously crafted hampers, available throughout the festive season, are designed to infuse the holidays with unparalleled luxury and heartwarming tradition.

The signature Margaux Festive Hamper presents a sumptuous three-tier collection of exquisite treats. Chef Moulin of Jumeirah Al Naseem contributes traditional Stollen and charming chocolate figurines. Chef Roehrig of Jumeirah Mina Al Salam offers a delicate, spiced Festive Kouglof with a jewel-like mandarin confit, evoking the authentic warmth of a European Christmas. Jumeirah Al Qasr’s Chef Bacheyre showcases elegance with his harmonious Orange and Hazelnut Cake, a recipe from his childhood, and a rich Pistachio Cake.

A dedicated Children’s Edition hamper ensures the youngest gourmands are also delighted, featuring child-friendly adaptations such as festive Cupcakes, Chocolate Chip and Caramel Cookies, and Jumeirah Al Qasr’s ‘Cookie Hug.’ This edition also includes adorable chocolate nutcracker and reindeer figurines bursting with colourful candies.

In addition to the hampers, Margaux presents two show-stopping festive pâtisserie delights. The Festive Yule Log by Pastry Chef Nicolas Bacheyre of Jumeirah Al Qasr is an indulgent ode to chocolate, inspired by the traditional abra boats that glide through the waterways of Madinat Jumeirah. This show stopping centrepiece pairs smoked chocolate mousse with cocoa nib and vanilla crèmeux, layered over soft sponge and cocoa-salted crumble, finished with sculpted dark chocolate and a base of Caraïbe chocolate filled with hand-made hazelnut praline.

Looking ahead to January, Margaux will present the traditional French Galette des Rois by Pastry Chef Thomas Moulin of Jumeirah Al Naseem. This golden puff pastry, filled with smooth almond cream and rich, nutty hazelnut praline, hides a delightful surprise, a tiny charm known as the fève. In keeping with the cherished French tradition, the guest who discovers the fève is crowned king or queen for the day, a playful ritual that brings an extra touch of joy to gatherings. Margaux’s Galette des Rois is served with a paper crown and the hidden fève, making each slice a moment of celebration.

Margaux’s festive collection is available throughout the season, with the signature hamper priced at AED 590, the Festive Yule Log priced at AED 350 and serving four to five people, and the Galette des Rois priced at AED 250 for a whole cake serving six to eight people or AED 50 per slice.
