In a city defined by its rapid pace and constant noise, RAIR, a health and wellness collective co-founded by Daniel Faber and Montel Goodrick Maiava, has officially launched to disrupt the speed of everyday life. Rejecting the “mass-market” approach to wellness, RAIR introduces a philosophy of precision, turning fleeting moments into meaningful routine rituals through the interplay of light, sound, and functional scent.

The Sensory Thesis: Aether & Silence

At the heart of the launch are RAIR’s cornerstone Functional Essential Oils, designed to anchor the human experience in two distinct states:

Silence: A restorative blend of Chamomile, Agarwood, White Sea Lavender, and Attar Mitti, designed to target stress and invite stillness. Aether: A cognitive awakening featuring Manuka, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Camphor, Lemon, Eucalyptus, Clove, and Cardamom, formulated to cut through the mental haze and enhance intellect.

Activation [1]: An Immersive Debut

The brand recently debuted its vision at Esque Gallery inside Italia Conti, Dubai Hills through a two-part immersive installation. The morning sessions merged physical exercise with aromatherapy via sold-out Pilates classes led by Tatiana Boustani. By evening, the gallery was transformed into a biophilic sanctuary and light installation where guests – including entrepreneurs, creatives, and athletes – navigated rooms specifically designed to mirror the thesis of each oil.

In the “Silence” room, deep red light and a solo violin performance by Ena Petkovic grounded visitors in peace, while the “Aether” room utilised sheer eight-metre curtains and mirrored light beams to provoke deep intellectual immersion.

Coffee and Matcha were provided by The Era. The biophilic botanical display was designed by Botanical Dubai. Creative direction, the lighting installation, and a concluding minimalist DJ set were provided by the co-founders.

The Road Ahead

Expanding its footprint in the wellness sector, RAIR is planning further events that build community around the brand and embody its thesis. “RAIR is not about what is available to all, but what is preserved for those who seek depth over display,” say the co-founders. “We believe humankind deserves quality over quantity, and that time should be cherished, not rushed away”.
