Rodeo Drive Rides Into Ibn Battuta Gate This August – Dubai’s Newest All-American Bar & Restaurant Experience
Saddle up for a wild ride this August 2025, as Rodeo Drive bursts onto Dubai’s F&B and entertainment scene with a larger-than-life opening at the Oaks Hotel, Ibn Battuta Gate. Spanning an impressive 14,000 sq. ft., this American-themed venue blends bold comfort food, high-energy entertainment, and family-friendly experiences under one roof – offering something for every mood and every moment.
At the helm of the kitchen is Head Chef Walter Melo, whose culinary roots trace back to Mexico and Texas. Expect a dynamic, oink-licensed menu rooted in American comfort food with Latin American flair, featuring everything from flame-grilled steaks and smoky briskets to Tex-Mex staples and Cali-Mex delights — all fired up on a live grill pit, the fiery heart of Rodeo Drive Ibn Battuta Gate.
Guests can sip on bold, imaginative cocktails, an extensive selection of draught beers, and Instagrammable sharing drinks while indulging in arcade games, beer pong, interactive darts, Rodeo bull rides, and more. The entertainment lineup includes live bands, resident DJs, and a rotating calendar of themed nights, making Rodeo Drive a go-to for after-work hangouts to weekend blowouts.
Rahul Shetty, Managing Director, Peninsula Hospitality, comments, “Celebrating a decade of success on Sheikh Zayed, Rodeo Drive now opens at Oaks Hotel, Ibn Battuta Gate — larger, livelier, and designed for everyone. With live entertainment, arcade games, quality dining, and a dedicated children’s area, it offers a complete experience for families, friends, and nightlife enthusiasts alike.”
Yes, it’s for the grown-ups – but Rodeo Drive is also family-friendly. Under 21s are welcome in the restaurant area and kids aged 1 to 10 years can enjoy a dedicated play zone featuring wall-mounted games, educational toys, arts & crafts, Rodeo Drive bespoke kids’ books and toys with a full-time nanny on site.
“Dubai is growing westward, and Ibn Battuta is at the centre of that boom,” says Joe Dourans, Operations Manager of Rodeo Drive Ibn Battuta Gate. “With Palm Jebel Ali, Al Maktoum Airport, Al Furjan, Jebel Ali Village and Jebel Ali Hills developing rapidly, we saw the opportunity to create something unique – a true destination venue that combines food, music, games, and energy in one unforgettable space.”
Designed by Hiren Ganatra of Collab Company (India), Rodeo Drive Ibn Battuta Gate’s interiors offer a bold and immersive journey through six uniquely themed zones — the restaurant reimagines the spirit of the American West with a contemporary, rebellious flair. From the rustic charm of the Wild West Grill, where flame-kissed meats meet vintage leather and raw timber. The bar reflects East Coast inspirations, echoing New York’s underground scene with glossed tiles and smoked glass, every corner tells a story. The high-energy arcade area bursts with retro games, neon-drenched graffiti, and urban street culture, while the adrenaline-fueled bull riding arena steals the spotlight with its cage-like staging and showmanship. Hidden behind a secret bookshelf, the mobster-inspired Mancave evokes old-world luxury with rich velvet, oak panels, and the unmistakable air of a speakeasy. The experience culminates at the Broadway-style stage — a theatrical centrepiece where live acts take the spotlight in true show-stopping fashion.
The venue seats 305 guests, with a total capacity of 600 across the restaurant and bar. Whether you’re in the mood for mouth-watering comfort food, high-octane entertainment, or a family-friendly day out, Rodeo Drive Ibn Battuta Gate is your new go-to for unforgettable moments.
