Adding to the excitement, Sexy Fish unveils Sekushi on April 17, a highly anticipated debut where seduction takes center stage. Guests will be treated to an unforgettable evening, indulging in exquisite flavors, captivating performances, and the largest collection of whisky, all in a setting designed for connection, through food, art, and conversation.
Tokyo Week launches on April 10–11 with an extraordinary Four Hands Dinner, featuring Chef Takehiro Arakawa from Sushidan Tokyo, a renowned sushi restaurant in Tokyo’s Hiroo district celebrated for its “nigiri only” philosophy. A master of traditional Edomae sushi techniques, Chef Arakawa is dedicated to preserving the authenticity of Japanese sushi while introducing subtle, refined innovations. For AED 900 per person, guests will embark on an unforgettable omakase journey, blending the precision of Tokyo’s finest sushi craftsmanship with DIFC’s vibrant dining culture, or to elevate the experience with Sake Pairing it will be AED 1,300. Seats are limited with only 30 guests per evening—early reservations are highly recommended.
From April 14–16, Sapporo Week celebrates Kintsugi, the Japanese art of golden joinery, where broken ceramics are repaired with real gold, symbolizing resilience and beauty in imperfection. A VIP PR workshop on April 14 (invite-only) will be followed by a public session on April 16, where expert artisans will guide guests in this ancient craft. Kyoto Week, running from April 21–27, offers a refined Sake & Haiku Pairing Experience, where premium sake is thoughtfully paired with traditional Japanese poetry for a multisensory tasting journey. This exclusive set menu is priced at AED 1,300.
Closing out the month, Maguro Closing Day on April 29 from 8pm offers an extraordinary Tuna Ceremony & Tasting Menu. Guests will witness the artistry of a live tuna-cutting ceremony, followed by an expertly curated tasting menu for AED 1,200 per person, or opt for the sake pairing set menu at AED 1,600. Adding to the experience, a special video documentary will showcase the journey of the tuna, from the moment it was caught in Japan to its arrival in Dubai.
