Trader Vic’s Is Offering A Free Mai Tai On National Mai Tai Day

Did you know that 30^th August is National Mai Tai Day? Bet you also didn’t know that Victor Bergeron – better known as Trader Vic’s – is the man behind the sweet and potent concoction that is the Mai Tai, born 80 years ago in 1944?! To celebrate, Trader Vic’s, the home of the OG Mai Tai is rolling out the tiki welcome mat for Mai Tai lovers, at both their Hilton locations, Dubai Palm Jumeirah and JBR.  

On Friday, August 30th, from 5PM onwards, bring a lime and get your Mai Tai cocktail, on the house! Afterwards, from 8-10pm keep the vibes going all night with additional Mai Tais for just AED10 each! 

Home of the OG Mai Tai beverage, guests at Trader Vic’s can sample a variety of Mai Tai creations including The Original Mai Tai, San Francisco Mai Tai (made famous by Trader Vic’s SF-based bartenders), Maui Tai (pineapple-infused Mai Tai), Vodka Tai, Guava Tai and Passion Tai. Whatever you’re in the mood for, Trader Vic’s has a Mai Tai ready and waiting for you! 

Of course, no celebration is complete without entertainment and delicious pu pu platters. Guests can expect to dance the night away with live entertainment island hits by the inhouse talented band, while enjoying the best Polynesian cuisine the city has to offer.
