Where Dubai Will Be Watching The World’s Biggest Football Tournament

Every few years, football has a way of bringing people together like nothing else. Strangers become teammates, rival supporters become friends for ninety minutes, and entire cities unite around the excitement of the beautiful game. This summer, as the world’s biggest football tournament takes centre stage, Dubai is preparing for weeks of unforgettable sporting moments.

Across the city, sports bars, restaurants, and entertainment destinations are transforming into vibrant gathering places, creating occasions that go far beyond simply watching a match on screen. From sunrise kick-offs and family-friendly meetups to late-night celebrations and poolside watch parties, football is once again becoming a shared social ritual that connects communities.

At Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis, tournament season comes to life across two distinct venues running from 11 June to 19 July 2026, each offering a different way to enjoy the action.

OUI Sports Bar will offer a lively, family-friendly setting throughout the tournament, screening every major fixture alongside a series of football-inspired activations designed to bring supporters together. Early risers can catch sunrise matches from 5:00 AM, paired with a breakfast buffet featuring unlimited tea, coffee, and juices for AED 70. During prime-time fixtures between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM, guests can watch live screenings with a minimum spend of AED 150. Table reservations start from AED 500, while quiz nights, score predictions, fan moments, and interactive challenges add an extra layer of engagement to each matchday.

Meanwhile, REDROOF will offer an elevated viewing experience, combining live match screenings with rooftop dining, music, and city views. The venue will feature DJ entertainment throughout the tournament period, with entry packages including two drinks from AED 100 and table reservations available from AED 500. Guests can also continue gathering after matches, with the venue remaining open until 4:00 AM.

Together, the two venues provide continuous tournament coverage from early morning kick-offs through to late-night screenings and social gatherings. The format reflects the varied ways audiences choose to experience major sporting events, whether through breakfast viewings, evening matches with friends, or rooftop gatherings following the final whistle.

Nina Petridis, General Manager of Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis, believes that football has become one of hospitality’s most powerful social connectors.

The way people watch football has evolved. Guests today are looking for more than just a screen; they want atmosphere, entertainment, great food, and opportunities to share the experience with others. By combining OUI Sports Bar and REDROOF, we’ve created a destination where guests can follow the tournament from the first match of the day through to the final celebrations at night, all within one destination.”

The 2022 global tournament quietly reshaped Dubai’s relationship with live sport, as the city recorded more than 14.3 million international visitors and hospitality venues across the emirate operated at near-full occupancy during key match periods. As visitor numbers reached record levels and demand surged across the city, football screenings evolved from simple broadcasts into immersive social occasions that combined dining, entertainment, and community-driven engagement.

That evolution continues today. In an increasingly digital world, audiences are seeking meaningful shared moments, and live football provides one of the strongest reasons to gather. While millions watch matches from home, venues that combine hospitality, entertainment, and crowd energy offer something screens alone cannot replicate: the collective thrill of celebrating every goal, save, and victory alongside fellow supporters. This year’s tournament is expected to attract football enthusiasts from across the globe, creating a citywide buzz that extends far beyond the pitch.
