Wynn Al Marjan Island Will Boost Employment In The UAE
Wynn Al Marjan in Ras Al Khaimah is on track to open its gates to customers next year as the first licensed integrated gaming resort in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The resort will create thousands of new jobs and give Ras Al Khaimah a major employment boost. Gaming professionals, hospitality specialists, accountants and developers are already applying.
That is in addition to the massive number of construction jobs the project has created since Wynn started work on the 60-hectare site.
Recruitment on an Unprecedented Scale
Wynn plans to employ around 2,750 people before the turn of the year, increasing its workforce from 251 at the end of 2025 to around 3,000.
The recruitment is expected to play out in phases. Senior leadership, specialist and technical positions will be filled on a rolling basis.
This is a massive establishment that will have a 1,530-room luxury hotel, dozens of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, retail outlets, conference facilities, spas, beaches and other attractions.
Wynn executives believe their establishment in Ras Al Khaimah is a small city within a city.

The development will support more than 7,500 jobs and generate over 9,000 direct and indirect jobs down the line across the entire UAE economy.
Larger integrated resorts of this nature create demand throughout the supply chain. Construction companies, food suppliers, transport operators, laundry services, entertainment providers, logistics firms and technology vendors will benefit from the increased commercial activity generated.
This project will establish Ras Al Khaimah as a major tourism destination and support long-term employment growth in other hotels, restaurants and attractions across the UAE.
Elsewhere, the online gaming sector is slowly taking shape. While most of the talk has been about the physical casino, online gaming has also entered the picture.

Wynn’s employment strategy focuses heavily on investment in staff welfare. The company is building a massive residential complex that opens up later this year.
This 26-acre development will house over 7,000 employees, more than three-quarters of the total workforce.
Facilities include modern apartments with private bathrooms, fitted kitchens, swimming pools, fitness centres, cinemas, plenty of dining venues and spaces for visiting family members.
The community is also set to house Wynn University, an on-site training facility to provide professional development and operational training.
