800 Athletes From All Over The Globe To Participate In “Dubai Pro” Bodybuilding Championship, Qualifying For Mr. Olympia
The Emirate of Dubai is preparing to host “Dubai Pro” Bodybuilding Championship, qualifying for the Finals of Mr. Olympia 2025, from 20th to 22nd June 2025 at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 in Dubai World Trade Center
The Championship is organized by the Oxygen Club in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council (DSC) & with participation of more than 800 amateur & professional athletes, who will compete to win valuable prizes worth over Dhs 2 million.
The Organizing Committee unveiled the event’s details in a press conference, convened at DSC’s premises and addressed by Mr. Adel Al-Ali, the Championship’s Manager / Ahmed Ashkanki, the Holder of silver medal in the Bodybuilding World Championship (Master Olympia) in 2016 & 2017and winner of several international titles; the most eminent of which are the titles of Arnold Classic Championship and New York Pro Championship /the Kuwaiti trainer Ahmed Askar, a professional trainer and creator of champions, who is considered as one of the best bodybuilding trainers in the world. Ahmed Askar has trained & developed several Arab champions, who have competed for titles in major global championships. His personal record is rich of numerous international championships.
Mr. Adel Al-Ali stated: “We thank DSC toward its great & constant support of the Championship besides its valuable contribution to make it a success. The Championship witnesses distinctive participation of professional & amateur bodybuilding champions. The 4th version differs from the previous editions as the value of prizes, awarded to the professional winners, has increased to Dhs 2 million. The numbers of professional cards have also increased to 15. Winners in amateurs category will gain 9 cards, while winners in Gulf category will obtain 6 cards. Numbers of participating professionals & amateurs have increased too, thanks to the developed facilities in Dubai, the well-based infrastructure which is designed according to the highest international standards & the distinctive quality of life in the Emirate, in addition to the remarkable level of the organization of this Championship and other international championships held in Dubai, encouraging international companies to move their stores and headquarters from Europe to Dubai. In this regards, international athletes and professional champions in Europe and America have begun moving to live in Dubai”.
He added: “We are pleased toward the remarkable rush for registration to participate in “Dubai Pro” Bodybuilding Championship. This event acquires great importance since it provides opportunities to Arab athletes to become professionals and qualifies athletes to compete in Bodybuilding World Championship (Master Olympia 2025); the biggest championship for bodybuilding professionals which will take place from 9th to 12th Oct. at Las Vegas in the United States of America under the umbrella of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness. Registration door is still open for athletes of different categories from all over the globe. Competitions to be managed by elite of referees, who are accredited by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness”.
Ahmed Askar remarked: “Dubai Pro has become one of the biggest global championships and become a favorite destination for bodybuilding athletes from all over the world. The event acquired a distinctive global level of organization. The entire work is carried out with extreme precision. Huge numbers of fans are expected to attend to enjoy watching strong global competitions. Contestants presented outstanding performance during the last two years”.
Ahmed Ashkanani mentioned: “Dubai Pro” Bodybuilding Championship will play key role to boost the Arab & Gulf sports, as it provides unique opportunities for Gulf athletes to gain qualifying cards to the World Championship. It has become one of the most eminent and top championships in terms of the level of organization & competition, and value of prizes.
